Down with the number 14, Gisin was able to take advantage of the visibility conditions optimal yet and directions from his companions arrived already at the finish line, guessing the best trajectory to jump on the plane and in the insertion of Patascoss, thereby win the first race fast in this edition of the European Cup with a time of 01.01.76.
Behind him, both 17 hundredths of a second, found themselves paired up another Swiss, Ralph Weber, and the Austrian Christopher Hoerl, capable with bib number 27 to grab his first podium in the European Cup. With the passage of the numbers, the fog hid the sun that had characterized the early hours of the morning, returning to overshadow the summit of the track Pancugolo-Miramonti, making it increasingly difficult to insert in the top positions of the ranking. In this regard, to report evidence of the amazing British Douglas Crawford, who number 31 is passed through the first time check with three tenths ahead of Gisin, only to frustrate all with a bad mistake that resulted in the exit early stage.
