It starts again, not even two weeks after having concluded another camp at the Stelvio. This time, however, after the intense work carried out on the glacier between June and July, Petra Vlhova is ready to make the most of the Snow Arena in Druskininkai, in southern Lithuania, an indoor facility that it also used last summer, with the 450 meters of track perfect for training especially in slalom. In these hours, all the staff of the Slovak champion, who in the last days of July has prepared at home, in her Liptovsky Mikulas, dedicating herself to the athletic part, is reaching Lithuania to begin another ten-day block of work (until August 12). As Livio Magoni, head of Team Vlhova explains, the training will be mainly with slalom skis: “We will do many tests on new materials - analyzes the technician from Bergamo - and with us we will also have Hilaire Paleni, Rossignol's racing manager for the world Cup. We will devote ourselves to technique, but also to mini-giant sessions ". There will still be no Gigi Parravicini, recently operated on the knee and out until October (Petra will work again at the Stelvio and Hintertux between September and the start of the World Cup in Soelden), but after working with Zambelli at the Stelvio, there will be Marco Zenoni in Lithuania to carry out the job of technician and skiman together with Matteo Baldissarutti. Because the Vlhova Team does not leave anything to chance to continue climbing the world and reaching the top.
