After the postponement of an hour and a half and the departure already lowered under the Duke of Aosta, at 14.30 it was decided to raise the white flag. And now the world calendar becomes a real chaos.

A "cursed" World Championship, with the risk of postponement for Covid, the absence of the public and now the weather that is conditioning the start of the first week of this world championship in Cortina 2021.
And so, after the cancellation of the women's alpine combined (scheduled for Monday 15 February), today the girls also had to give up the super-g on the Olympia delle Tofane. Rain and snow? No, this time it was the fog that was decisive in the negative: after an hour and a half of waiting, it was decided to cancel as there were absolutely no conditions in the entire upper part of the track, from the schuss of Pomedes to the Duke of Aosta, where they tried to move the start before raising the white flag at 2.30 pm.
