Crac confirmed for Christina Ager: jumped crusader and meniscus of the right knee, the Austrian was already operated

Injured last Saturday at Copper Mountain, the sprinter has already finished the season. Even before debuting in Lake Louise ...

All confirmed, unfortunately for the Austrian women's national team that continues to lose elements, and for all the enthusiasts who will not see a possible outsider in speed races. Christina Ager, injured last Saturday in training at Copper Mountain (fatal landing by a jump), will lose the entire 2019/2020 season even before having started it, as her debut was scheduled for the Lake Louise races (6-8 December). Immediately returned from Colorado, the 24-year-old was visited and operated, today, at the Hochrum clinic in Innsbruck to intervene on that right knee that had already crashed at the end of March on the occasion of the Austrian championships. The diagnosis was very heavy, as it had already emerged from the first visit: rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and laceration of the internal and external meniscus.
