Federica Brignone, second in today's downhill, Sofia Goggia, Marta Bassino and Francesca Marsaglia comment on the results obtained on the Kandahar track in Garmisch Partenkirchen.
Federica Brignone: "This season is going more and more uphill and for me it is simply incredible. I know what I can do with my skis, I have great confidence with them, and I think the attitude is making a difference. Today is a real downhill and I'm really happy with how I skied. After Bansko they felt all the colors, on the track. Today it's a real downhill and I tried to push hard, I knew I had made a mistake on the top, but I am was fast. I gave my best and I'm satisfied: today Rebensurg was unbeatable. Today I really don't look at the points, Mikaela is not here and I'm very sorry for what happened to her. I do my races and I look at my results and I prefer not to talk about the pain of others. Tomorrow there is the super-G, I will try. I will restart from how I skied today and we will see the result ".Sofia Goggia:" Compared to the test I lowered the time, even if after Bansko it was not so easy to face this race a question of trust and support that I hadn't found in trial. Not bad, but there is still room to go faster. Not much missing, slowly I will limit my time. In the super-G I will try to find the best supports and then we will see the result at the end of the race ". Marco Bassino:" I am satisfied because it is a downhill track. I'm happy, the gap is also high but Rebensburg made the difference. The track will be designed by our technician, Giovanni feltrin, and today I have received important indications in view of tomorrow's race where I will try to do the best I can. "Francesca Marsaglia:" I am happy even if I made one mistake too many cost a probable top 6. But it's a positive day, in which I had fun and found the best feeling. Now we still have a descent before the Finals and I want to continue like this ".
