Viktoria Rebensburg's masterpiece on the Kandahar track in Garmisch Partenkirchen. The German wins the downhill race in front of the home crowd and captures her first career success in the World Cup in this discipline. Second, with a gap of 61 cents, is a great Federica Brignone who continues to make us dream. The Italian gains another 80 points in the general classification and approaches the American Mikaela Shiffrin, absent due to the tragic death of her father. The Czech Ester Ledecka came third with a delay of 83 cents.
It was 6 years since a German girl hadn't won in downhill. The last was Maria Riesch in Cortina d''Ampezzo in 2014.
