There is already a certainty in world speed. The smoothness of Nicol Delago is something unique in the panorama of the white circus, a skill that has brought the 24 year old blue to the podium last season both in super-g and downhill; it happened on two tracks, however quite different like Lake Louise and Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, even if the difficulties were not lacking on the more technical tracks. In particular, from the weekend of Bansko onwards, Nicol suffered a lot, still providing some good signals in Crans-Montana; speaking with colleague Andreas Raffeiner of skiweltcup.tv, the young woman from Val Gardena admitted that she had experienced a season of “ups and downs that taught me a lot. Of course the podiums were the best, but it was the difficulties that showed me where there are opportunities to improve. I know I have to work hard to find continuity in performance, regardless of the track, track and snow conditions ". On the Coronavirus theme and how much things will change, the most "expert" of the Delago sisters thinks this: "We must be grateful for the things we have in life, we often take it for granted and this situation has made us reflect. I personally learned to appreciate many small aspects, but also found time for new things, such as sewing and cooking. And of course I dedicate myself to my dog Mika ".
