Juliana Suter redeems the insult on Sunday: victory at Passo San Pellegrino, Zanoner great 7th

European Cup in Val di Fassa: the second descent, after yesterday's cancellation, rewards the Swiss who burns Ager and Schmitt, with Schoepf (first in race-1) fourth. A very important result for the hostess Monica Zanoner, Dolmen and Gasslitter also in the top ten.

A special victory, to close the 2021 European Cup on what is his track. "La VolatA" in Passo San Pellegrino is truly magical for Juliana Suter, who wins the second descent disputed in Val di Fassa, postponed for 24 hours after yesterday's strong wind had stopped everything (leading to the cancellation of the super-g originally planned today). For the 23-year-old Swiss this is in fact the third success in the continental circuit, all obtained on these snows after the double in 2017. If on Sunday the Swiss had been mocked for a single penny by Emily Schoepf, today they only needed 8 to regulate Christina Ager, who brings Austria to the podium ahead of the other red cross Janine Schmitt, third at 14 cents from his compatriot and a tenth better than Schoepf herself, now fourth. Still Austria and Switzerland with Wechner fifth and Durrer sixth, then there is really a lot of Italy as in the first descent. Fassana Monica Zanoner improves by one position, great seventh on her home track, just 66 cents from the winner, Elena Dolmen is also eighth (+ 0 "73, ex aequo with the German Hirtl-Stanggassinger third two days ago) and Verena Gasslitter tithe. And there are points and trust also for Valentina Cillara Rossi, 12th, Teresa Runggaldier 13th and Giulia Albano 15th, as well as for Federica Sosio (16 ^), Carlotta Da Canal (21 ^), Heloise Edifizi (22 ^), Sara Allemand ( 27 ^), Carlotta Welf (28 ^) and Alice Calaba who is placed 29th.
