He had never won four times in the series, but today is really a special day for Lara Gut-Behrami who, by signing the double in the Garmisch super-g, rose to 30 wins in the World Cup, hooking up a certain Janica Kostelic and finding himself only ten athletes ahead in history. Simply impregnable for anyone, even if today Petra Vlhova has invented something extraordinary to end up on the queues and contain her comeback in the general, whose leadership remains in the hands of the Slovakian (+42 on Lara). And the third super-g crystal ball, after those of 2014 and 2016, is only a matter of time as Corinne Suter has 195 points of margin with two races to go. On 9 February in Cortina, in the world super-g on the Olympia delle Tofane, all eyes will be on the 29-year-old from Comano: "It's never easy and it wasn't even today - commented Gut-Behrami in the "Immediate post-race on Rai Sport microphones - It's nice to always be able to adapt to the best because conditions change constantly, I'm thinking race after race and so it will be for the World Cup too".
