The Ticino player is also one step away from the discipline cup, but the Slovak defends her leadership in the general with the first podium of her career in super-g. In the first race without Sofia Goggia the blue suffer: Brignone the best in 7th place.

The challenge had already begun, but from today it is definitively in full swing. We are talking about Lara Gut-Behrami and Petra Vlhova, the great protagonists of the second super-g of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the last cup race before the world championships in Cortina.
The Swiss champion is perfect, once again, and signs the consecutive poker of successes in "his" discipline, collecting the pearl number 30 in the maximum circuit; the third crystal ball in the discipline, however, is not yet in his hands as the margin over Corinne Suter, now fifth, is 195 points with two races still to be played (Val di Fassa at the end of February and the finals in Lenzerheide) .
Petra Vlhova's response in view of the overall World Cup, however, was phenomenal: the Slovakian took her first super podium with a luxury test, finishing just 28 cents from Lara and thus still defending 42 points of margin on the Ticino, while Michelle Gisin shows up in the race and takes home a placement just outside the top ten, but now she finds herself almost 200 points behind.
