On November 23rd in Levi (scheduled at 10.15 am and 1.15 pm), Italy will field a sextet formed by Irene Curtoni, the captain of a very young group with Lara Della Mea, Martina Peterlini, Marta Rossetti, Roberta Midali ( in the photo) and Anita Gulli.
After starting the week of training at Zinal, the only remaining ballot was between the twenty-one year old from Piedmont and Vivien Insam, with Gulli who was preferred after an internal selection to take part in her fourth career slalom in the maximum circuit.
Insam itself will join the group of technical disciplines of the European Cup, departing for the trip to Sweden in view of the Funesdalen slalom of 2 and 3 December, to which also Gulli and Rossetti, who will not fly to the United States, will take part that for the CdM slalom in Killington (December 1) we will see instead only five blue in the race (missing only the official chrism), that is Curtoni, Della Mea (which has the guaranteed fixed place), Peterlini, Midali and Brignone, already in Vermont to dispute the previous day's giant.
