Melanie Meillard back on skis in Zermatt: "Now the knee is fine, I'm ready"

The Swiss '98 class, after two seasons of ordeal (with the return in 2019/20 lasted only 4 races), finally seems to be on the right track.

In Zermatt again on skis, five months after the early closing of the season announced in February, when before the technical races of Kranjska Gora, Melanie Meillard had announced the stop to better prepare the 2020/21 vintage, the real one high level return. The talent of the Swiss house finally started again on the snow, last week in Zermatt where various teams of the national red and blue team are working, to definitively put the knee injury of two and a half years ago behind it, stopped on the eve of his first Olympic Games. The class slalomgigantista '98 played, in the 2019/20 World Cup vintage, only four races without getting points, thus deciding to return to the pits (with the crisis related to the Coronavirus, in reality he only skipped the races in Slovenia since Ofterschwang, Are and the finals of Cortina have jumped) to defend their rankings and recharge on a physical level.
