Seven Germans for the double opening of slalom in Finland: it will be the first race after the retirement of Christina Ackermann.

A Germany with more options and a quality team, even without the point of reference that can guarantee a very high level result.
Without Christina Ackermann, who left the competition last spring and then announced motherhood in the summer, the German team will focus strongly on Lena Duerr, starting with Levi's double slalom on November 21-22, for which they were summon seven athletes. The 29-year-old Bavarian is the only athlete in the 15 in the world, followed by Marlene Schmotz who will re-enter the competition for the two Finnish tests, more than ten months after the crusader crash of her right knee, second serious injury in just over two years for the '94 class who was experiencing the best moment of their career (also due to their performance in giant leagues).
In addition to Duerr and Schmotz, there are important expectations on Jessica Hilzinger, who has a guaranteed permanent position in the CdM thanks to the excellent 2019/2020 season in the European Cup, and on Marina Wallner called to redeem. Also competing in Levi is Andrea Filser, Martina Ostler and the debutante, Bavarian class 2000, Luisa Mangold.
