Petra Vlhova takes the parallel slalom of Sankt Moritz: Brignone, sixth, goes up in the overall

The Slovak folds Swenn Larsson in the final, back on the podium without winning. Excellent results for the Valle d'Aosta: second behind Shiffrin before Courchevel.

Without Mikaela Shiffrin on the track, it is Petra Vlhova who takes the whole scene in the parallel slalom of Sankt Moritz. The Slovak, despite the chronic problem with his right ankle, returns to the race after missing the super-g and overcomes all, starting with Anna Swenn Larsson, bent in the final for only two cents and again on the podium (fifth time in the Cup of the Mondo) without winning. In third place Franziska Gritsch, for the first time in the top 3 in a CdM race, while Italy smiles anyway in a tough discipline, with Federica Brignone excellent sixth (eliminated by Gritsch in the quarterfinals) and now second in the World Cup general classification behind Shiffrin, two days after the Courchevel giant.
