Finally the first win of the season arrives but not in slalom or in parallel but in the female giant of the World Cup of Semmering for Petra Vlhova.

Thanks also to a new longer ski the 23 year old Slovak has reassembled from the fourth place of the first heat and has beaten by 45 cents the German Viktoria Rebensburg and 60 the French Tessa Worley. For Vlhova is the first podium in giant, the 17th total, and the fifth victory in the World Cup.
