The FISI has issued the list of squads and summons for the men's fast World Cup races in Bormio and for those Semmering women's techniques.

On the Stelvio slope of the famous locality of Alta Valtellina there is a descent on Friday 28 December at 11.30 and a super-G on Saturday 29 at 11.45. The two races will however be preceded by two timed qualifying sessions on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 in which ten Azzurri will compete: Emanuele Buzzi, Mattia Casse, Davide Cazzaniga, Peter Fill, Werner Heel, Christof Innerhofer, Matteo Marsaglia, Federico Paini, Dominik Paris and Alexander Prast. While seven are sure to compete, Cazzaniga, Paini and Prast will play the eighth and last place available for Italy downhill, There are eight places available in super-G but will be decided who deploy only after the descent. Meanwhile, the track in these hours has been wet and is in optimal condition.
Only one change compared to the Courchevel technical competitions in the women's team that will be engaged in the 28th giant and the 29th slalom in the Lower Austria area. Roberta Melesi will take the place of Elena Sandulli in giant, for the rest will still compete, as in Savoy, Marta Bassino, Federica Brignone, Elena Curtoni, Irene Curtoni, Lara Della Mea, Francesca Marsaglia, Karoline Pichler and Laura Pirovano. All training has been confirmed in slalom, composed by Federica Brignone, Chiara Costazza, Irene Curtoni, Lara Della Mea and Martina Peterlini.
