Shiffrin and that weekend in Folgaria: "First the service for Sports Illustrated, then Dad's accident"

Mikaela revealed what happened in those hours, thanking the famous American magazine for a special and sad cover.

It was the first weekend of February and, during a training session on the friendly snows of Folgaria, Mikaela Shiffrin's life changed in an instant. After a training on the track, the queen of the white circus was called to another commitment, that of posing for Sports Illustrated, she chosen by the well-known American magazine as the first cover athlete although not participating in the 2020 Olympic Games and not even in the World Championships .
