The qualifying round of the parallel giant of Sestriere, the first in the history of the women's World Cup, does not give any particular surprises for the formation of the scoreboard which will see 32 athletes (from the round of 32) at 11.45 am
On the Kandahar G.A. Melliela Shiffrin signs the best overall time on the two heats, very solid in comparison with Petra Vlhova, who passes easily like a brilliant Wendy Holdener; Italy can smile with Marta Bassino third time ex-aequo with the Slovakian, but Sofia Goggia and Federica Brignone also qualify with a fair margin, in the same way as Laura Pirovano. Francesca Marsaglia and Maria Luisa Bertani did not make it.
