A couple of months after the men's competitions in Valtellina, Santa Caterina Valfurva is ready to host the European Cup again, in this case at the women's level with the three days from 9 to 11 February. After the giants of Krvavec (with the second appointment canceled today), the circuit will move directly to the “Deborah Compagnoni” for two descents that promise to be of a high level, given that there will be all the athletes not present at the World Championships in Cortina. These are the recoveries of the races canceled in December in Val di Fassa (with “La VolatA” which will host the World Cup at the end of February), with the first training scheduled for Tuesday 9 February and the two races on Wednesday and Thursday. To direct the orchestra, a well-tested organizing committee accustomed to competitive events, the Ski Club Oltre CPA, the sports arm of Cancer Primo Help Onlus, which will take care of the technical and above all health aspects to safeguard and guarantee the health of athletes in pandemic matter. As happened at the end of December with the World Cup races in Bormio, and a few weeks ago in Clusone where the Italian sprint and team sprint cross-country skiing championships were held, also in this case we will rely on in the expert hands of the team manager and track director Omar Galli, assisted by those who grew up on these tracks, Tino Pietrogiovanna. For now, the Italians registered are Giulia Albano, Carlotta Da Canal, Greta Angelini, Alice Mus, Vicky Bernardi, Elisa Schranzhofer, Diana Camozzini, Ginevra Gaiani, Carlotta De Leonardis, Amelia Rigatti Di Grazia, Elena Dolmen, Sofia Pizzato, Vittoria Ludovica Druetto, Matilde Lorenzi, Heloise Edifizi, Carlotta Nimue Welf, Jole Galli, Elisa Maria Negri, Nicole Nogler Kostner, Teresa Runggaldier, Alice Pazzaglia, Viola Sertorelli and Federica Sosio.
