Viviani, in fact, has already competed this season in the FIS opening on the South Tyrolean snows, then left the scene in the second race between the narrow posts when she was in the running at least for the podium. His best result in the European Cup is the 19th place last season in Zell am See, but precisely because of the long stop after the injury ("only the intervention in Rome by Prof. Mariani solved the situation"), in reality, the Genoese competed in the continental circuit only five times and all in the 2019/2020 vintage, ending with the victory in the FIS slalom of Artesina and after having already dominated in Pampeago. "An idol? It's Tina Maze, a real point of reference as a skier and woman ", replies Serena without delay, who is part of the Fiamme Oro di Moena after growing up on the Piedmontese snow for many years, from the Mondolè Ski Team to the Ski Club Sestriere, from Bardonecchia to Pragelato up to the Valchisone Ski Club. His reference, however, is the Perosian technician Sergio Sanmartino: "I owe a lot to him, he taught me the technique and never give up, especially when I had thought about stopping due to knee problems". And now there are many dreams and above all goals on the horizon, for a concrete one like Serena Viviani: “I'm aiming to enter the 10 European Cup races, but now I'm only thinking about this double chance for Levi, which I absolutely don't want to waste. I think I fit well into the group, I feel great with the girls from CdM too. The Levi Black? It is a track like many others, even if there are two important plans: the attitude counts, however, and we really believe we can do well. These are occasions that don't happen every day, I have two possibilities and I want to play them both to the fullest ”.
