The traditional promotional tour of the very classic World Cup made a stop in the capital: with Giorgio Rocca, Ivano Edalini and a big name in high fashion like Anna Fendi, Campiglio is already looking forward to the big night of 3Tre.

The "3Tre on Tour" enchants Rome and does so by bringing the charm and style of Madonna di Campiglio to the "Eternal City" as well, which is preparing to host the 69th edition of the men's night slalom of the Italian Cup in exactly six weeks. Mondo, scheduled for Thursday 22 December on the Canalone Miramonti.
Today at the Sala Laudato Sì of the Campidoglio, the municipal seat of Roma Capitale, the 3Tre was welcomed with full honors by the Councilor for Sport, Tourism, Fashion and Major Events of the Municipality of Rome, Alessandro Onorato. “Rome is experiencing an important moment in recovering a central role even in major events. Welcoming the World Cup slalom in Campiglio is a moment of encounter between different realities that have their common denominator in tourism ”, said the Honorable Councilor in his greeting.
The presence of a great name in haute couture like Anna Fendi, special guest and godmother of the Campigliana stop in Rome, was the perfect synthesis of an encounter in the name of class and passion. “I am a friend of beauty and this event is based on beauty - explained Anna Fendi - Madonna di Campiglio is a precious gem that I naturally associate with Rome, my city. That's why I believe that this bond can be strengthened more and more in the name of skiing, a sport that conveys a profound sense of freedom and discipline ”.
Also thanks to such illustrious guests, the charm of the Dolomite resort has conquered everyone in the imminence of a ski season full of news, whose start is scheduled (weather permitting) on Saturday 19 November with the opening of the lifts in the Grosté area. Recently joined the “Altagamma” Foundation, the pearl of the Dolomites (represented on the occasion by the President of the Pinzolo-Madonna di Campiglio Municipal Council, Monica Bonomini), she prepares for the winter season with justified ambitions. "The 3Tre promotional tour has been going on for a decade now and allows us to tell the story of the event and the splendid places in which it takes place, enhancing the quality that our operators are able to express - explained the President of the Company for the Tourism Madonna di Campiglio, Tullio Serafini - We are in Rome for the strong bond with this city and with the many friends who love our locality ”.
Presenting the great ski event in Campiglio was the President of the 3Tre Committee, Lorenzo Conci, together with two winners of the Trentino slalom, Ivano Edalini, first in 1986, and Giorgio Rocca, the last Italian to conquer the Canalone Miramonti in 2005. "We want to finally find the embrace of the general public and therefore we are particularly motivated to meet the fans during our tour, this year will be the real return to normal after the Covid period", recalled Lorenzo Conci. “3Tre represents for me the main event of the season in the hope that an Italian team will finally win it again. 17 years have passed since my success on the Canalone Miramonti, many, too many: but the event, regardless of the result, still deserves to be experienced and this is the spirit of the promotional tour in which I still carry the enthusiasm with me of that victory, still unchanged despite the passage of time ”, underlined Giorgio Rocca.
As in the other stages of the 3Tre on Tour, the contribution of the historical memory of the Campiglio slalom, Paolo Luconi Bisti, was not lacking, who told the story of the event through images and video contributions, as well as the appointment with the crystal, the trophy that belongs to the winner of the World Cup, inseparable partner of 3Tre in the promotional tour.
After Rome, on Tuesday 22 November (7:00 pm), 3Tre will be in Milan with another “glamor” event at Casa Gessi, a prestigious multipurpose space located in the fashion district. In the meantime, the sale of tickets for the 3Tre on 22 December continues (first run at 5.45 pm, second from 8.45 pm) on the official website 3trecampiglio.it.
