Beat Feuz was close to leaving Head, but the Coronavirus blocked the Stoeckli test

In the end, nothing changed and perhaps it was better for everyone, but it was certainly a fascinating attempt to bring a champion of his land to wear Swiss skis. We are talking about Beat Feuz and the possibility, revealed today by the "Berner Zeitung" and taken up by the various Swiss media, to test Stoeckli materials last spring; it happens that, after the races in Kvitfjell where the champion of the Canton of Bern has closed all games to conquer his third consecutive crystal ball downhill, the champion of St. Moritz had decided to try the skis of the rossocrociata house. The Coronavirus, however, blocked everything and, considering that the recovery was only possible in July on the home glaciers, Feuz decided to continue his now consolidated relationship with Head, which supplies him with materials from that 2012 where Beat touched the General World Cup using Salomon, before the change, of the physical problems and the rebirth that then led him to win (almost) everything in speed (only the Olympic gold and a success on the Streif are missing). Therefore remaining with the Austrian brand, Feuz will lead a real squadron that, from the 2020/21 season, will also count on the performance of another great champion for fast disciplines such as Vincent Kriechmayr.
