European Cup: the Swiss leads halfway through the race over the Austrians Brennsteiner and Haaser. Around the second behind the two best blues, Hofer again badly.

Semyel Bissig is back in front of everyone, after the first heat of the giant number 2 of the European Cup in Berchtesgaden.
A crucial appointment in terms of specialty classification, with the Swiss leader and Alex Hofer who, after yesterday's exit and the lost leadership, is still wrong today and ends well out of thirty. The best Azzurri are therefore Giovanni Franzoni and Filippo Della Vite, fresh from the call-up for the world championships in Cortina: the Brescia player is 11th with 93 hundredths behind the top, the Bergamo 13th at 1 second. Zingerle also qualified in the 30 at home in Italy, 19th at 1 ”42, Canzio 21st at 1” 49 and Sorio 27th at 1 ”77.
Bissig leads with only 13 hundredths of a margin on Stefan Brennsteiner, already second yesterday in the first appointment on the Bavarian snow, and over half a second on the other Austrian Raphael Haaser, but watch out for the Norwegians Steen Olsen (born in 2001 who levels up every race ) and Haugan, paired in fourth place with 55 cents to recover.
At 12.00 the start of the 2nd heat.
