Braathen plans a great future: many days on skis for the phenomenal 2000 of Norway

Many days of skiing to not waste time, after having lost (like everyone else) the tests at the beginning of spring, in addition to the possibility of playing other important results and improving your own rankings. Lucas Braathen is already a certainty of the World Cup: at just 20 years of age, the phenomenal Norwegian "Generation Z" plans a great future, with a great deal of work between May and June, first on the Fonna glacier together with his national team-mates , then in the last few days in Hemsedal. Now on the menu a lot of athletic load and in the second part of the summer we will return to the snow for the crucial phase of preparation. But what can we expect from this class 2000, already in the short term? In giant the continuity was immediately excellent, even if the great result arrived instead in slalom, with that 4th place in Kitzbuehel after dominating the first heat. It is surprising that, at his age and with very little high-level experience, in both technical disciplines and in practically all conditions Braathen has always been competitive, while still making mistakes or suffering performance drops in the end of heats. Just a matter of time to see him constantly in the top positions, having also significantly improved the situation in WCSL: already in the second giant sub-group, with his 15th place, 25th in slalom. And this will make a big difference from the start of the 2020/21 season.
