The men's World Cup will start over the weekend with the Hinterstoder triptych, which already includes the third and last Alpine combined season on Friday, a super-G on Saturday and the giant on the snow of Upper Austria on Sunday.
In FIS we work to recover in Kranjska Gora, also because there are no other dates available, the slalom canceled in Yuzawa Naeba, but it is not obvious that the Slovenian resort (which has already recovered the two women's technical races skipped in Maribor) welcome the rehearsal not staged in Japan. On the Podkoren it will compete on 14-15 March with giant and slalom, with the second race among the rapid gates which would be added on Friday 13 March.
In the meantime, the quick tests of Kvitfjell have been confirmed, with descent and super-g on the Olympic track of the 1994 Games set for Saturday 7th (at 11.00 am) and Sunday 8 March (10.30 am). The FIS snow check has given a positive result and the program will be opened on Thursday 5th from the first of the two scheduled tests.
