Only a couple of top 20 in the first giant on the Gran Risa. The vice world champion wants to level up for Monday's race, while Della Vite says he is "happy with both heats, I can be solid".

Little blue in Alta Badia, at least in the first of the two appointments scheduled on the Gran Risa (the encore on Monday, same times with the 1st heat at 10.00 and the 2nd at 13.30), where today Filippo Della Vite and Luca De Aliprandini were the the only ones able to qualify for the second heat, finishing 17th and 18th respectively.
Let's start with the vice world champion, who collected 13 points (but the boundary of the second sub-group is dangerously approaching, even if Luca is still 11th) after the "zeros" in Soelden and Val d''Isère: the desire to to arrive, which clearly emerged above all in the first heat, but compared to the one seen a year ago on one of his favorite tracks, the Trentino rider seemed like a bad copy. After the race, through the federal press office, De Aliprandini admitted all the difficulties of the moment: "I'm certainly not happy, I had other goals at the beginning of the season - he said - The two outings took away my confidence a little , especially in a sport like skiing where it's just the head.
In the first heat I thought about going down, the second a little better but it's a time when everything doesn't go as I would like. There are also these periods in my career and I try to make the most of them. Physically I'm quite well, but I'm a bit conditioned, which leads me to struggle even when I go down. When you're in flow it's much easier. Today it was important to cross the finish line, we have to start again in view of tomorrow in which I will try to push myself a little further".
"I am very happy and satisfied with my race - explains Filippo Della Vite, already 12th in Val d''Isère and close to another top 15, despite starting with bib number 31 in a very complicated first heat - I am happy with both the heats, since the track was very hard. I was solid, I have no regrets about the first one, given the conditions I did mine.
The Gran Risa is a track that I like, very technical. I have to work on continuity, always throwing in heats at a high level and that's the goal. I have to make the giant leap, when I have more time I will also think about the slalom”.
