It is the true phenomenon of blue skiing, increasingly in the history books as an absolute leader, now alone, as a record holder in World Cup descents.
We took the descent on the Stelvio for the third consecutive year (and before we ran to Santa Caterina Valfurva ...), for the fifth pearl of the career in Bormio, giving Italy the first success of the men's sector this season.
Dominik Paris, in his post race, is really happy: "I felt I had the speed, I wanted this success - the words of" Domme "- I risked because this time I wasn't going to finish second (after the two honor squares of Lake Louise, editor's note): it's nice to have Feuz and Mayer on the podium. When the snow and the track are in these conditions, I always try hard. It went well...".
And tomorrow a new descent, also starting from the top, with the possibility of flying well at the top of the general classification of the World Cup, since Paris is now second only 30 points behind Henrik Kristoffersen.
