It's the day of the Gran Risa, or rather the first of the two appointments on the wonderful slope that has hosted the men''s World Cup for 36 years with the classic giant from Alta Badia.
A special Sunday, also because we will see as forerunner a champion who has won three times here, Max Blardone, before Marco Odermatt, at the start with bib number 1, begins the search for the seasonal trio and encore a year ago, in the first heats scheduled from 10.00 (the 2nd is scheduled at 1.30 pm).
Henrik Kristoffersen, who won the first giant of 2021, will try to be the first challenger to the giant's ruler: the norge ace will be at the gate for sixth, but also pay attention to Meillard, Kranjec, Feller (who will close the first sub-group with n° 7), and an Atle Lie McGrath who will start with the number 16 and will be very dangerous for everyone.
Like Luca De Aliprandini (number 14), on the podium in Badia 12 months ago and with great motivation after the outings in Soelden and Val d''Isère.

The second blue at the gate, Giovanni Borsotti, will start with number 25 before Maurberger (28) and Della Vite, number 31 with the aim of another great match after Val d''Isère. High bibs for Tonetti (53), Franzoni (54), Vinatzer (61), Sala (63) and Kastlunger, engaged with 66 in the home giant.
