From Friday 12 June, the group of the dt Lorenzi climbs on the glacier to begin the preparation. Still absent are the two South Tyroleans, returning from their knee injuries.

The first meeting of the Italian team of the World Cup slalomgigantists starts from the snow of the Stelvio, in the process of reaching the teammates of the speed starting from next Friday to remain in altitude until Wednesday 24 June. After the farewell of the manager in charge of the giant group, it will be the same technical director of the national team for technical disciplines, Roberto Lorenzi, to follow their work assisted by Giancarlo Bergamelli and with Jacques Theolier and Stefano Costazza as always alongside of slalomists. Among the players called are still Manfred Moelgg and Simon Maurberger, called to end the rehabilitation period at home, after the crusader injuries that first hit the Maremma (last January 11 in the 2nd round of the giant of Adelboden) and then the born in 1995 in the Ahrntal Valley, whose knee crashed in the giant parallel of Chamonix on 9 February. Giovanni Borsotti, Riccardo Tonetti, Luca De Aliprandini, Hannes Zingerle and, as regards the slalom team, Tommaso Sala, Alex Vinatzer, Stefano Gross, Federico Liberatore and Giuliano Razzoli will start their season at the Stelvio.
