Sunday (9.10-12.30 the two heats) a crossroads race for the specialty World Cup. Vinatzer draws on the 14th, Razzoli on the 15th (Sala has the 17th) and in the track conditions seen today it can represent an important handicap. Meillard, already second in the first slalom on the Gudiberg, will start with 3 after the Austrian and the Norwegian.

Slalom bis in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the eighth of the ten specialty races scheduled for this men's World Cup, could be the crucial one to "split" a truly incredible discipline ranking, with the top ten collected in less than 80 points and Henrik Kristoffersen, with today's success, just one point behind the red bib Lucas Braathen.
Appointment on Sunday, with the first heat starting at 9.10 (Stefano Costazza will trace, live TV is scheduled on Eurosport 1 and Rai Sport) and the second at 12.30 (design of the decisive heat entrusted instead to Glasse Davies, Dave Ryding's technician). Kristoffersen will have an excellent bib number 2, Manuel Feller (third today) will precede him with the '1, and this could be a factor of great weight given that on the "Gudiberg" the conditions will probably be similar to those of race-1, with a salty track that in the long run yielded and conceded little to the higher numbers.
The three on today's podium will be the first on the startlist, with Loic Meillard bib n ° 3 before Strasser, Yule, Foss-Solevaag and Noel, the latter two called to redemption after the exit in the first slalom to stay still in their own race for the specialty cup.
Marco Schwarz, who came out of the first sub-group, will open the second that sees the blues in ... queue: certainly not lucky draw for Alex Vinatzer and Giuliano Razzoli, who will start with numbers 14 and 15, just before Tommaso Sala. The Brianza, who climbed up to 16th place in the WCSL with his consistency of results, will come out of the gate with the 17th, hoping that the back pain that has re-emerged today will not create too many problems. Same formation for the Azzurri, with Maurberger, who came out today in the first heat, starting with 29 just before Stefano Gross (30), back from a good 11th place.
Very difficult mission of qualification to the second for Federico Liberatore (40) and Tobias Kastlunger (65).
