No surprise in the choices for the second leg of the World Cup, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday with the two races between the tight posts on the very tough "Gudiberg".

Seven blues will be involved next weekend in the two Garmisch-Partenkirchen slaloms, seventh and eighth seasonal specialty rounds.
The only doubt could be linked to the seventh name on the list, in addition to those of Alex Vinatzer, Giuliano Razzoli, Stefano Gross, Tommaso Sala, Simon Maurberger and Manfred Moelgg, last of the Italian winners (Tomba preceded him, with three triumphs, and the Gros-Radici duo between 1975 and 1976) on the "Gudiberg", on that day in 2009 when it was a splendid double with Giorgio Rocca, before "Manni" went on to win the medal in the World Cup two years later in Bavaria.
There will be Hans Vaccari in the race, preferred to Federico Liberatore today author of a good 7th place in the European Cup in the second consecutive slalom of Almaasa. Appointment on Saturday with race-1, scheduled at 9.30 for the 1st heat and at 12.30 for the second, same times as Sunday's encore with the exception of the opening run, 20 minutes earlier (9.10) to avoid overlaps with the second women's downhill in Crans-Montana.
