Fracture of the pelvis for Marc Gisin

The worst seems to be averted for Marc Gisin, who has fallen frightfully to the humps of the camel during the men's downhill of the World Cup in Val Gardena.

The first medical diagnosis of the hospital in Bolzano, however, speaks of a fracture of the pelvis. The 30-year-old Swiss from Engelberg is fortunately conscious. A fall, his, which reminded the even more terrible of the poor David Poisson that in 2010 risked life to the humps of the camel, while in 1989 Giorgio Piantanida, second in the famous blue triplet of Leukerbad of January 23, 1988 behind Much Mair and in front of Werner Perathoner, the bumps definitely slumped his knee and ended his career practically at that point.
