Two in parallel, two in slalom. This is the sequence of successes in the World Cup for Ramon Zenhaeusern, today the master of the first specialty event in Alta Badia, with a comeback that took him from eighth to first position, burning Feller on the wire. Schwarz and Vinatzer.
The red-cross giant rejoices, over 21 months after the last time in Kranjska Gora, when he lined up (with an absurd second round) Kristoffersen and Hirscher, dominant at the time; the always smiling German-speaking boy did not experience a simple last season, also for this reason a restart of the kind is worth double, even with the first red bib of his career to wear in a few hours on the Canalone Miramonti.
“I was very nervous for today's race, because I hadn't competed for almost eleven months - he explained in the post race to FIS microphones - I'm happy because this race shows that the work done was in the right direction. Campiglio? I have never achieved good results on that track, but it is a splendid race and I will try, in fact I am already looking forward to competing again after so long in the pits ”.
The 3Tre, in fact, has never been a friend of Zenhaeusern, 21st and 18th in the 2016 and 2017 editions, only to come out on the last two occasions, when, however, the competitiveness to play for an important result had shown it all right.
