The World Cup rankings after the first descent in Kitzbuehel: midway through the journey, the blue is not far from the Carinthian and Feuz. Saturday's race will be crucial before going to Garmisch.

If the descent number 1 on the Streif did not change anything in the first positions of the general classification, given that none of Alexis Pinturault's pursuers competed (as regards Odermatt, forcibly with the race interrupted before his descent), it is decidedly the fight for the specialty cup is interesting.
We are not even halfway there, given that 4 of the 9 races on the calendar have been disputed (although the other race canceled in Wengen has yet to be officially relocated to Kvitfjell, as is likely), and in less than 100 the three champions who should play it. At the level of WCSL, net of the tide of absences, Christof Innerhofer is not even too far from the top 10, while Marsaglia and Buzzi themselves are in the thirty, with Sappada in particular who finally needs a good result to lower his bibs. A situation that, just today, forced him not to take to the track given what happened with the interruption of the race.
