Ankle injury for Thibaut Favrot, but the French try to be there for Beaver Creek

France lost the gigantist who finished 25th in the Soelden opening for three weeks.

Thibaut Favrot is forced to stop, due to an ankle injury during a physical workout in the gym. The Alsatian, who in the race on the Rettenbach had a little disappointed with the expectations that gave him much in shape after the summer job, suffers from a joint distortion that will not allow him to work in the next three weeks. In the transalpine house there is confidence to be able to have him in the race in the second seasonal giant, the one scheduled for Sunday, December 8th in Beaver Creek, even if the preparation on the Colorado snows will be at this point largely compromised for one of the youth of the house France which, last year in parallel in Alta Badia, obtained its first and so far the only podium in the World Cup, with the 2nd final place behind Marcel Hirscher.
