The super-g in the Austrian temple sees the Norwegian return to success, second place ex-aequo for the Carinthian and AAK. The Piedmontese fifth, Innerhofer's return is good.

On the day of the rebirth of Kjetil Jansrud, who returns to the success in the World Cup 14 months after the Lake Louise super-g (in the middle the world championship gold downhill in Are), there is also Italy on Streifalm for the opening race of the Kitzbuehel weekend.
Without Dominik Paris, Mattia Casse gave a fifth place of the highest level, only 53 cents from the Norwegian and dreaming of the podium for several minutes; the Piedmontese, in fact, concludes only 4 cents from Mauro Caviezel, even if the three champions out front (in fact, the favorites of the eve with Kriechmayr) made the difference.
The super-g in the Austrian temple rewards Jansrud, phenomenal up to the attack of the Hausbergkante, but also Matthias Mayer and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde second ex-aequo at 16 cents of detachment; the Carinthian and AAK in fact take 80 points that keep them in the running, as well as for the general classification.
And the return of Christof Innerhofer, in the top 15 zone to the first race ten months after the accident in Cortina, is also good in the blue house.
