The World Cup rankings after the Campiglio slalom won by the Norwegian, now 128 points behind Pinturault. Alex is fourth in the specialty ranking and with the seven races in January it will be fun.

The victory on Tuesday evening in the 3Tre in Madonna di Campiglio gave the Norwegian his first success of the season, the third on the Canalone Miramonti, but above all the leadership in specialties and fourth place overall, just 128 points behind Alexis Pinturault (sixth yesterday) . The Frenchman has still earned a decent amount of spoils against Aleksander Aamodt Kilde and Marco Odermatt, who will dive on 28-29 December in the fast races in Bormio where Alexis himself will still play the super-g.
The battle has just begun and the seven slaloms scheduled for January (one more than usual, with Chamonix "doubling" at the end of the month) will be crucial. Slalom in which Alex Vinatzer himself will play the chance to fight for the dream of the red bib: with the podium in Campiglio, the Val Gardena remained in fourth place in the specialty classification, just 30 points behind Kristoffersen and with a good margin on two men who, along with the Norwegian, are perhaps the main favorites for the crystal ball, namely Clément Noel and Daniel Yule.
At the level of WCSL, after the race on the Canalone Miramonti not much has changed, with the top 7 unchanged but Vinatzer himself who, while remaining eighth, is now about sixty points from the first sub-group (30 less than the previous gap from Pinturault). Attention to Feller's ascent, while almost everything remained unchanged for Moelgg, Maurberger and Gross, who was forced to score points in Zagreb to save the top 30, from which Giuliano Razzoli was excluded (by a whisker).
