After today's cancellation, he will try again starting at 10 am on Thursday, as announced this afternoon once he gave up the first day of practice.
The only timed test on the Saslong, in view of the downhill that Val Gardena awaits for Saturday, with super-g scheduled for Friday always at 11.45 am, will be staged with the hope that the weather will help FIS and organizers, after the fog and the high temperatures that have already ruined the mantle.
It will start however slightly lower than the original start, with the new startlist formalized in the evening which foresees, compared to the training that should have been held today, the bib number 9 for Dominik Paris (he had the 5 for the first test), first blue at the starting gate and followed by Christof Innerhofer, returning with the 17th.
Twelve Ghidoni's men on the track, to make selection ahead of the two fast races that represent the third round of the World Cup with descent and super-g after Lake Louise and Beaver Creek: Emanuele Buzzi will start with the number 24, Peter Fill the 27, Matteo Marsaglia 30, then here Casse with 35, Cazzaniga with 50, Battilani with 57, Schieder with 63, Guglielmo Bosca with 67, Federico Simoni with 74 and Alexander Prast penultimate with 77.
