The champion of descent will pay for travel and accommodation out of his own pocket, but he gives a warning for a general reduction in costs.

A heartfelt choice, that of helping the Norwegian federsci forced to major cuts ahead of next season.
It does this for the young people of the future, but also to give an important signal to the whole movement. Kjetil Jansrud, as captain of the “Attacking Vikings”, has already communicated to the director of Alpine skiing norge, Claus Johan Ryste, the choice of financially supporting the federation by putting his hand in his wallet.
"I don't feel like a guardian angel, I simply want to help out thinking of young people who don't have our same possibilities - said the 34-year-old from Stavanger, who will become a father in the coming months - I think, however, that FIS must contribute to a part of the expenses, everyone is trying to keep costs down and solutions must be sought.
However, I believe that supporting our federation can also be an investment for other athletes, in order to guarantee us the opportunity to work better, between technicians, staff and better training opportunities ", concluded Jansrud.
