The FIS Head of the White Circus Markus Waldner spoke about the Germany case at the meeting of the Alpine Ski World Cup team leaders in Val d'Isère.

The case concerns the supply of German technicians to their athletes of oxygen tanks between one heat and the other of the giant of Beaver Creek, won by a German, Stefan Luitz. This practice is prohibited from 2016, at least on the place of competition, by the FIS, which received an anonymous protest in this regard.
"There is an ongoing investigation (of WADA, the World Anti-Doping Agency, ed) and in the meantime the Germans, including Stefan Luitz, will be able to start the races." It is not a decision either in one direction or the other: the FIS washed its hands, thus delegating all responsibility to WADA on the fate of the German athletes who, yes, compete, but still remain on the grill.
