Paris launches towards the Lauberhorn: "Track ok, the super-g will be an unknown". Inner: "I'm finally there"

Tomorrow the first of the three speed races in Wengen: word to the two blues, brilliant in practice, even if the best card for Thursday's super-g (12.30) could be Mattia Casse.

Two days of testing ok, for a national speed team that aims to be the protagonist on the Lauberhorn in Wengen, where from tomorrow it will get serious with the fifth super-g of the season, recovery of the one skipped again in Bormio, followed by the historic descents in the Swiss temple. The inaugural match on Thursday, in fact, is an unprecedented or almost unprecedented (European Cup apart) in the Bernese Oberland, not even competing since 1994. And Dominik Paris himself talked about it today, after signing the third time in the ' last downhill training: “The track is in excellent condition - said the leader of the downhill CdM to Physi.org - Yesterday was not the best, but last night they worked and we skied on it. The track is shiny, very hard. At Kernen-S it is not easy to pass in the best way, today I took some references and I hope to be in front and to be able to play for a podium. Let's see what the super-g will be like on this track: a novelty because I've never done it, then there will be a long and a short descent (on the distance of just over 1''40 ", as today in practice). I hope that, in the end, we can also celebrate something ... ". Christof Innerhofer seems to have regained full confidence with the two excellent tests held (1st and 7th): “I did two good tests - says the champion from Gais - and I skied as I know how to do. Finally I managed to put everything in place and I enjoyed these days. I like the track and I'm ready: I feel good physically and I can have the ski cut in the most difficult points the way I want ”.
