The controversy explodes in the post Chamonix, after a race that (once again) has seen a much more favorable track and has been a decisive result. The French leader and the Azzurri coach shoot zero.

"Dangerous and irregular".
Alexis Pinturault and Jacques Theolier do not use half words, but with them many other athletes and professionals, in the post-race of the parallel giant of Chamonix, which sparked an infinite number of controversies for at least two reasons.
First of all the risks run by the athletes, with the final jump more than discussed and the injury suffered by Simon Maurberger which was only the drop that made the vase overflow. Above all, however, it is the formula that does not work: everything ok until the round of 16, with qualifying and then double heats in the round of 32, but the dry test (chosen to shorten the times and satisfy the televisions) clearly poses the problem of a track faster than the other. The draw, therefore, basically decided all the crucial challenges of today's parallel giant (in a more evident way than in Alta Badia), with the clearly advantageous blue track.
Pinturault shot zero via social media: “I have the impression of being fooled, we athletes taken as pawns in a show and not the main actors of a sport - the words used by the French ace - Since luck has taken do I overpower performance? The dangerousness of the race, do we want to talk about it? And above all, dear FIS, when will the word of the athletes be taken into consideration? â€.
Daniel Yule, new representative of the athletes in FIS (since last summer) added: "Alexis, will we launch a boycott?", With the transalpine's response far from being playful. "We should start thinking about it."
And Jacques Theolier, technical manager of the blue slalomists, also did not hide: "Usually I don't say anything about the race, but please FIS ... stop the PGS, it's dangerous and irregular".
