We are talking about Daniel Yule, winner between Campiglio, Adelboden and Kitzbuehel, while this season nothing is going the right way at the home of the 27-year-old Valaisan, who will play his bib for Cortina on Saturday and Sunday in Chamonix. Released from the first sub-group with the exit in the first heat of Schladming (when he was finally traveling at his level), tomorrow Yule will start with the n ° 15, on the track where last year he lost, in fact, the chances of winning the Specialty World Cup finishing out in the decisive heat.
In terms of results, the good Daniel currently would find himself behind Zenhaeusern, clearly armored, to Loic Meillard who is already certain of the pass with a 4th and a 5th place between Adelboden and Flachau, but again in the top ten also in Schladming, while the fight would be the one with the reborn Luca Aerni and an expected talent like Tanguy Nef, both so far able to bring home a 6th and an 8th place. Yule, on the other hand, has two sevenths between Badia and Adelboden: "I think Aerni and Nef haven't done much better than Daniel anyway, so I think they can only compete for a place at the World Championships by getting on the podium in Chamonix", commented the expert of ORF, former Austrian slalomist Thomas Sykora.
Another ex like Didier Plaschy, speaking to the “Blick”, thinks the same way: “I believe that only a victory can change things, otherwise it will be a decision to be made between Aerni and Nef”. The big boss of the Swiss-Ski men's sector, Tom Stauffer, cut it short. “I will only worry about it after the Chamonix races”.
