Adelboden, critical situation for the weekend. In Kranjska Gora better conditions for the female giants

A weekend of great classics, with the enormous uncertainty linked to the weather in terms of temperatures which have already heavily conditioned the preparation work on the slopes. Between Adelboden and Kranjska Gora, there are some of the best specialists in terms of setting up the tracks, but the organizers of the appointments on Chuenisbargli (Saturday and Sunday with giant slalom and giant slalom in the Swiss temple) and on Podkoren, where the fifth and sixth giant seasonal for the girls, they literally had to jump through hoops. In reality, there is still some concern in Switzerland for the dispute of the two men's technical tests (10.30-13.30 for tomorrow's giant), given that daytime temperatures even exceed 10° and humidity it is very high. In Kranjska Gora, on the other hand, the situation is better as regards the "Podkoren", where in the early hours of the morning it drops just above zero, even if even in Slovenia the temperatures rise close to 7°-8° around lunch time, when in fact the two giants will decide (9.30 for the 1st heat, at 12.30 for the 2nd). The surface should hold well and the blues will arrive with great confidence, after having completed the finishing training on the snow of Zoncolan. "I think we'll find similar conditions between here and Kranjska Gora - Marta Bassino's words to Rai Sport after the last work session in Carnia - I have splendid memories there (from the winning double in 2021 to the podium a year ago), we'll see what these races will bring us”. While Federica Brignone will go in search of the 50th podium in CdM, the slalom skiers arrive directly from Zagreb who yesterday were "saved" by the second slalom in Croatia and had more time to recover than expected.
