France has already defined the squads for the next stages of the World Cup, on the weekend of 5-6 December, which will see the boys on stage in Santa Caterina Valfurva for the two giants on the "Deborah Compagnoni" and the girls in Sankt Moritz with the super-gs on Engadina.
There will be seven transalpines competing in the Valtellina area and among these is Clément Noel: as he had already announced when the giants were expected on the home snows of Val d''Isère, the slalom ace then plunges back into the wide gates as he had done, for the first time in CdM, last February 22nd in Yuzawa-Naeba (not qualifying for the second heat). It will be interesting to see his progress, as this year Noel was able to do a smooth preparation, unlike 12 months ago when his back caused him quite a few problems, even if the team leader will obviously be Alexis Pinturault, who will arrive in Santa Caterina Valfurva as leader of the general after the success (the 30th of his career in the cup) in the parallel of Lech / Zuers.
With them here is the return of Victor Muffat-Jeandet, who had given up the race in Austria last Friday, Mathieu Faivre, expected to achieve a high level result, Remy Falgoux, Thibaut Favrot and Cyprien Sarrazin.
