A heavy snowfall accompanied the second day of the weekend which, on the Sestriere slopes, hosted the Criterium Cuccioli, with slalom races reserved for the 2007-2008 vintages involving around 600 competitors from all over Italy. Great work therefore for the volunteers of the Ski Club Sestriere, Ski Club Sansicario, Ski Club Sauze d''Oulx and Ski Club Claviere, with the competitions staged at the same time on the "Sises 2", on the "Agnelli" and on the "Standard". In the Puppies 1 (2008) category, the results awarded Nicola Zampedri (AS Merano) winner ahead of Federico Forte (SC Bardonecchia) and Francesco Sadowski (Equipe Limone Piemonte) in the men's field and Amelia Curto (Equipe Beaulard) among the girls, with Francesca Banchi (Olimpica Sestriere) second and Arianna Putzer (Gardena Raiffeisen) third. In the Puppies 2 category (born in 2007) the successes of David Castlunger (Ladinia Alta) were recorded in front of Alex Silbernagl (Seiser Alm) and Luca Larenzi (Sporting Campiglio) among the boys and Sofia Fumagalli (Azzurri Cervino) in front of Elisa Graziano (Ala di Stura) and Marta Giaretta (Falconeri Ski) in the women's race. The results of the weekend helped to define the classification reserved for the Committees, the winner of whom received a free minibus from the Italian Winter Sports Federation on free loan for one year. The triumph was Alto Adige with 1689 points, in front of the Western Alps with 1233 points and the Central Alps with 531 points; then we find Trentino, Veneto and Valle d'Aosta.
