A French domination in the last appointment with the youth competitions of Santa Caterina Valfurva, but with a little blue still on the podium. The “First Aid Cancer Trophy - Memorial Walter Fontana” ended today on the snow of the Valtellina area which, next December 5-6, will host the men's World Cup again. After two slalom and a giant, today another FIS Njr race between the wide doors: among the girls, the 18-year-old Piedmontese Giulia Currado Vietti nearly scored an encore, yielding for only 4 cents to the transalpine Lara Bertholin (class 2001), in a very narrow podium as another Frenchwoman, Paola Orecchioni, finished third with 7 cents from the win and ahead of the blue Carole Agnelli. Triplet for the Equipe de France instead among the boys, with Leo Mollard again winner as in the first giant, this time in front of Thomas Lardon and Jules Baur. Italy is immediately there, with Edoardo Saracco fourth and first in the Aspiring category, Luca Benetton fifth and Simone Da Prada sixth. In the morning there was also competed in Adelboden for a decidedly high-level FIS slalom among the seniors: in the Bernese Oberland there were also some athletes already seen in the World Cup, and also in this case the victory went to an athlete transalpine, with Augustin Bianchini who preceded his compatriot Theo Letitre and the Austrian Simon Rueland. French triumph completed by Maxim Rizzo, fourth ahead of the German David Ketterer. Only one Italian in the race, the 2000 class Simone Gallina who left the scene in the first heat.
