The Swiss federation has announced the nine athletes who will take part in the world championships. The men's team (with the great doubt related to the slalomists and the presence of Mauro Caviezel in speed) will be announced after the Garmisch races.

Nine athletes, as well as Italy, which announced the call-up for Cortina 2021 today. In the afternoon, the choices of Swiss-Ski also became official, again with regard to the women's sector, in view of an edition of the world championships in which the red-cross squadron will propose a poker of stars.
Wendy Holdener, reigning combined world champion, will immediately defend her title on the first day of competition, obviously in the company of Michelle Gisin, Olympian of the discipline. Lara Gut-Behrami and Corinne Suter will focus very strongly on downhill and super-g, with the expected Ticino protagonist also in the giant, with the Swiss team completed by Jasmina Suter, Priska Nufer and Jasmine Flury for speed races, as well as Melanie Meillard and Camille Rast who will complete the slalom team with Gisin and Holdener (as well as having space in parallel).
There is also a designated reserve and it is Joana Haehlen, who has been through a fairly complicated season so far.
The men's selection, on the other hand, will obviously be made known after the races on Friday and Saturday in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, with the knot linked to the presence of Mauro Caviezel, and the fight linked to the six eligible candidates for the four places available in slalom.
