The choices of Switzerland and France for the next rounds of the World Cup: Wendy, despite the excellent performances in Sankt Moritz, thinks only of Courchevel and Lienz. The cup holder, on the other hand, will miss the super-g in Gardena to focus on the Gran Risa and the double giant before Campiglio.

Nine athletes for the two days on the "Oreiller-Killy", with the confirmed presence of Lara Gut-Behrami, but there were no more doubts about the recovery of the champion from Comano after last Sunday's crash, and the absence of Wendy Holdener who instead decided to return to focus on disciplines.
The choices of Swiss-Ski for women's downhill and super-g in Val d''Isère are official, with Holdener who will therefore miss the second race, despite the good placings of Sankt Moritz, in particular the 6th place in the first appointment in the Engadine. With Gut-Behrami obviously there will be the one who won the first French downhill last year, Corinne Suter, who still seems far from the best condition but is certainly among the candidates for the podium at least in the queen discipline. Especially in super-g pay attention to Jasmine Flury, Michelle Gisin (second consecutive speed stage for her, who needs to put miles in her legs), Priska Nufer, Joana Haehlen, Jasmina Suter, the young Noemie Kolly already very good at '' house date and Stephanie Jenal.
In Savoy there will be a France made up of six elements, with Tessa Worley who will seek redemption in super-g, after a decidedly negative weekend in Switzerland, while on the descent we will see Romane Miradoli, Esther Paslier, Camille Cerutti, Laura Gauche and Tiffany Gauthier.
Equipe de France which will instead bring ten athletes to Val Gardena, for the trial selections (Wednesday and Thursday) towards super-g and descent on the Saslong: there will be no Alexis Pinturault, twice sixth in SG at Beaver Creek but clearly not suitable for characteristics of a race that has often jumped, even more so with two giants in Alta Badia on the horizon. Bailet, Clarey, Muzaton, Allegre, Giezendanner, Nils Alphand, Sarrazin, Raffort, Roy Piccard and Schuller will then compose the speed training, but the choices for the double challenge at the Gran Risa are already official.
Sunday and Monday, the World Cup holder, winner for the first time in the giant temple just a year ago, the world champion Mathieu Faivre, who started his season far from well (ankle problem pre trip to North America included), Thibaut Favrot, Victor Muffat-Jeandet, Cyprien Sarrazin, who won in Badia but in parallel, and Clément Noel who will test again in giant, but will already think about the slalom on Wednesday 22 in Madonna di Campiglio, to be faced with the leader's red bib.
