A number of decisions will be made in May through various conference call meetings, but it will postpone everything to the autumn period including the assignment of the 2025 World Cup.

An almost obvious decision, considering the worldwide Coronavirus emergency, and ratified today with the official postponement of the 52nd FIS Congress, which was due to be held in Pattaya (Thailand) from 17 to 23 May.
A crucial moment, the one that foresees the various meetings in the spring, to plan the future and, in the case of this year, to elect the new president of the international federation after the announced farewell of Gianfranco Kasper, in addition to the calendars for the next season, the rules and regulations in addition to the location chosen to host the 2025 Alpine Ski World Championships (Saalbach, Crans-Montana and Garmisch-Partenkirchen compete).
Everything will be postponed, or almost, to the autumn period: some decisions, in fact, can be taken with special conference call meetings in the same month of May, for the rest we will go several months later with headquarters and dates yet to be defined.
